Established in 1994, UNIQCO has built its enviable reputation for delivering high-quality rail solutions using the Mercedes-Benz Unimog or a commercial truck as a prime mover. The result is a catalogue of specialist equipment that allows the Road Rail unit to perform a number of rail-related functions, including emergency re-railing along with overhead maintenance service, and repair.
On-railing with a Unimog truck requires only five metres of level track. Mounting and dismounting the rails is simplified for the vehicle’s operator by the system’s onboard cameras.
To make working with Australia’s various rail gauges both possible and simple, the track guidance system can accommodate tracks of 1067mm, 1435mm and 1600mm.
The availability of a radio remote-control system allows an operator to move the vehicle from outside or within the work basket.
At Uniqco, we know top-level service delivery in the construction, civil engineering, marine, mining and rail industries requires maximum safety and efficiency. It’s why we constantly search for new suppliers’ technologies, equipment and processes. and it’s this approach that has led to partner with ARCON.
ARCON radio remote controls are designed to make machine operation safer, efficient and more economical. These high-quality transmitters and receivers’ control some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated machines, including tunnel borers, construction cranes and major mining infrastructure machines.
ARCON’s extensive range of off-the-shelf and tailored products offer a level of safety and reliability second to none, operated already in the region on aircraft shunt tractors, vacuum suction machines, mobile and fixed cranes, tunnel borers, and many other applications.
Uniqco in partnership with Mulag offer some of the most innovative solutions for roadside mowing and road tunnel cleaning in the world. Using Mulag’s innovative mahtronic systems to sense where the individual working heads of the machine are in relation to the working surface allows us to reduce operator fatigue and increase speed on the operation at the same time.
Mulag machines are compatible with JCB, FENDT, tractors and Mercedes Benz Trucks. The complete machines are matched to their respective vehicle chassis in the Mulag factory to ensure coupling of the vehicles management and machinery management systems are fully functional before arriving in Australia.
The unique features of the Mulag equipment are it comes with interchangeable working heads therefore you are able to have brushes one day, mowing heads the next day, and tree/brush trimming equipment for maintaining shrubs.
